Letter from the Federation President

Dear Parents/Guardians/Players/Coaches/Sponsors:

As President of Charlotte County Soccer Federation I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in joining our exciting soccer league. My goal, along with the Board of Directors, is to provide the children in our community the best possible training, sportsmanship and knowledge of the game of soccer. We have gone to great lengths to put into place many opportunities for the children and the parents to get involved in our league. We provide classes for potential referees, clinics for potential coaches as well as soccer camps for the children. We want the children and the parents from our community to get involved in every aspect of the league because together we will keep Charlotte County Soccer Federation successful in the future.

I would like to also mention some of the things we have to look forward to this New Seasonal Year 2009-10. This season I am very excited to announce that along with over 38 recreational teams, several of which will be traveling, we also have 13 competitive teams that are now playing in the USA League. We are now partnering with our sister club, Punta Gorda Soccer Club not only with our recreational teams, but with our Competitive Teams. We have now started our new Competitive Program which will be known as “Charlotte Premier”. We can now give the best talented players in our county and the surrounding counties the opportunity to be together and represent us across the state of Florida. I am excited and look forward to seeing great things from our new Competitive Program. We now have the opportunity to host tournaments due to our new field and concession at our fields. We have partnered with Soccer Skills Unlimited for our very first Tournament which is tentatively planned for next year, but have not confirmed a date. We also are tentatively planning to host a 3v3 Challenge Sports Tournament in the month of April or May 2010. I look forward to seeing these great tournaments come to our community.

I am dedicated to seeing to it that Charlotte County Soccer Federation becomes the most successful soccer organization in the state of Florida. Together we can ensure that our children have all the opportunities that a soccer league can provide, but most importantly their experience with us will be one that they will always remember.

Sincerely,

Chip Stec
